Discount cards

Set up the card first, then sell it at checkout. Open Stored Value & Passes, then Discount cards.

Do this first

1. Add discount card.
2. Enter Discount card, Rate (out of 10), and Sale price. The rate is greater than 0 and less than 10. 8.5 means the customer pays 85%.
3. Leave Days after issue empty for no expiry.
4. Add.

• Put on shelf / Take off shelf: an off-shelf card cannot be sold or gifted on recharge. Cards already issued stay valid.
• Sale price can be 0, to give the card as a gift.
• Delete a card only when it has never been issued.

To sell a card in the store, open Payments, then Discount card. When Sale price is 0, there is no Performance staff. If the customer already has a rate that is as good or better, no new card is issued: the message is The current rate stays …, and the sale record shows No new card issued. On Recharge, you can Gift a discount card at no extra charge. At checkout, services and products use the customer's current rate. Walk-in has no discount. On the customer page, open Wallet & passes and Cancel when needed. See Checkout.
