Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
AURUM ONE (“we,” “us,” or “AURUM”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you use our platform for beauty and wellness businesses—including scheduling, customer records, staff, checkout, stored value, and multi-location tools (the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. Please also read our Terms of Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you are typically the controller of business data you enter about your customers and staff; we process that data on your instructions to provide the Service. For privacy questions, contact support@thisisaurum.com.
Information we collect
Information you provide: Account and registration details (such as name, email, and phone), brand and store information, and staff account data. Billing-related information for paid features is handled by third-party payment providers. Business data you enter in the product (client profiles, appointments, transactions, and marketing records) may include personal data.
Information collected automatically: Device and browser type, IP address, access times, feature usage, and error logs to keep the Service secure and reliable. We may use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, locale preferences, and (if enabled) analytics; you can manage cookies in your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.
What we do not collect: We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, or sensitive categories we do not need for the Service. If we learn of a minor’s account, we will investigate and may delete related data where appropriate.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the Service (including accounts, billing, and support); enforce tenant isolation and security; improve the product and fix issues; send service-related notices; prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your client lists or business data, and we do not “sell” or “share” personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We may aggregate or de-identify data for analytics and product improvement without re-identifying your business or individuals.
Sharing and retention
Sharing: We may disclose data to service providers (hosting, database, email, support, security monitoring, payment processing) only as needed to operate the Service, under contract and applicable law. Data may transfer in a merger, acquisition, or reorganization. We may disclose data to authorities or others when required by law, to protect users and the platform, or to enforce our Terms.
Retention: We keep data only as long as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, perform our agreements, and comply with law. After account closure or when data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where law requires otherwise.
Security and your rights
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and logical tenant isolation; data is hosted in secure cloud environments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; protect your account credentials.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Email support@thisisaurum.com; we may verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights under applicable law.
Policy changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will change the “Last updated” date at the top; material changes will be communicated reasonably. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where law requires separate consent.
